Experience
When I attended my university, I tutored math and science to children ranging from kindergarten to college level. Every time I worked with a student, it was always a different experience. Sometimes, they were full of questions, and other times, they refused to do homework. I always tried to make tutoring sessions fun and something to look forward to. I tried to give them plenty of examples so they really understood what they were learning. The special moments are when they realize they understand how to solve that problem they thought was so hard. I previously worked as a technical officer (similar to a laboratory manager). I was responsible for keeping the laboratory safe for staff and students. It wasn't always so easy with all the different personalities and cultures sharing the same space, but I made sure the lines of communication were always open so we could improve the lab and grow as a team. Currently, I'm in my first year for a Masters in Renewable Energy Technologies online at Loughborough University. I'm also learning Norwegian.
